To meet the rapidly growing demand for electric car charging from property owners in Sweden, their subsidiary Rexolution has launched a complete charging offering — with Charge46 as the software platform.

Background & Challenge
The electrification of the vehicle fleet is progressing rapidly — already by 2030 Sweden is expected to have more than 2.5 million electric and charging hybrids. This creates a massive need for accessible and smart electric car charging, not least in real estate.
Property owners demand end-to-end solutions — not just hardware or software, but a combination of both. Rexel, which already has world-class hardware, therefore needed to complement its offering with a reliable, user-friendly and scalable software platform that could handle administration, payments and user interfaces in an easy way.
Solution & Collaboration
To meet the needs of property owners, Rexel chose to partner with Mobility46 and use Charge46 — part of our overall Parking Management System, Park46.
Together we launched a CAAS (Charge as a Service) solution under the Rexolution brand. This end-to-end solution manages the entire charging business for the property owner — from hardware to technical support, app usage, customer service and automated payment.
A particularly important feature is consumption-based charging, which provides fairer and more transparent costs compared to flat rates or no-charge charges.
