Year in Review 2020: A Defining Year for Parking

As 2020 comes to a close, it’s clear that this has been a transformative year not only for the world — but also for the parking industry. Changing mobility habits and a growing reliance on the car have accelerated the need for flexible, future-proof parking solutions at both residential and commercial properties. To help even more property owners optimize their parking assets, we made significant investments throughout 2020 — including expanding our team and strengthening key competencies. Early in the year, we grew our commercial and product teams with several new hires:

• Veronica Lind as Head of Sales & Marketing

We also welcomed our new Tech Star, Mikael Quick, who will lead the development of our mobile apps for App Store and Google Play.

In 2020, we launched a series of highly requested features — all designed around our three core user groups: property owners, parkers, and administrators.

A completely redesigned, data-rich dashboard with new KPIs and visual insights — giving an instant overview of performance, occupancy, revenue, and asset value.

For Parkers

A smoother and more intuitive experience, including the ability to control EV chargers directly from their mobile device.

For Administrators

Full automation of the entire queue management process — plus major groundwork for the industry’s first fully automated end-to-end parking management workflow, set to launch in early 2021.

We have also invested heavily in data integrity and data accessibility, further strengthening the foundation required for a 100% data-driven parking operation. This enables dynamic pricing, smarter occupancy management, and improved forecasting for each individual facility.
